disappointed
i am severly disappointed in google
wait
lol
google knows about me know, but only if you search with quotes
perhaps if more people would link to me i might be ranked higher? (hint hint)
and even then, gallery is the first hit, then something about me on technocrati
and then some other crap sites, then finally the blog
im not even sure that anyone links to the gallery though, most people that link to me (basically only burns) link to the blog, and then there is a link on there to the gallery
but, since i am running apache 1.33 apparently i was logging common instead of combined, so it wasnt logging referers until yesterday (i figured that out because i set up webalizer on all of my websites)
speaking of webalizer
because im cool like that, i mapped a smb share of the logs from the gallery server, and mapped the html root (both onto caspar) and then i use webalizer on the qube to read the logs across the network and write the results back out across the network (its much easier than setting up webalizer in win32)
now all the sites are updated every morning, 6am, 6:10, 6:20, 6:30. not that it takes 10 minutes, but its more fun that way, and it gives the dns servers a break
