interesting but vague article about how the US no longer leads the world in intarweb tech, broadband deployment/speed/cost.
also is interesting is the fact that its a nytimes article, and it comments on how newspapers should get a clue about registration, and recommends bugmenot which is probably the most useful extension ever for news readers
