Single Point of Failure
RIT, in all their glory, designed a network where the DHCP is a single point of failure that can bring the entire network down if it is not fixed after 3 hours (leases time out)
that happened this morning @ about 1am ish
people started dropping from aim, then i dropped
I set my ip’s for the windows boxes as static dhcp failovers
Yay RIT
