Back in ROC
So i was home for break, which means i had friends to hang out with, turkey to eat and alcohol to drink
on the way back, my car started sputtering about 30 minutes after i left my house (I-83 crossing the susquehanna towards Harrisburg)
It was raining really hard, and my car was being all pissy with the check engine light coming on and such so I called my dad who found me an Advanced Auto near by. I had them run the OBDII check just to make sure it was only a mis-fire type thing. it was, a couple misfires on cylinder 2. I was gonna get new spark plug cables, but they wanted $100+ for them, so thats a no go for something that might not even fix the problem.
So… We think that I have a cracked distributor cap, and some water got in, because it stopped after a wile (when the water got dried out?) and cracked distributor caps are apparently common on Jetta MK3’s anyway.
So, after like an hour delay, which accomplished nothing, I was back on my way to Rochester.
