I added a new blog to my Blog-esq links on the right.

I found her through Defective Yeti and her posts just sucked me in.  They are long, but detailed in a perfect amount of info sort of way.  Very well written, and there is lots of talk of food, fresh food made at home.  It makes me want to go cook right now.  I am too much of a bum to go to early morning market plus I don’t know of a close one here in Rochester, but I have a feeling I might start going this summer.

Spring is definitely in the air. All around the city, ebullient-looking couples are holding hands and staring into each other’s eyes. People talk about summer vacation as though it is just around the weekend. Even the air feels sprightly.

The world is alive again.

And for me, one of the best signs of this exuberant time happened yesterday morning: the University District Farmers’ Market opened for business at nine am.
