Comment Timeout is a WordPress plugin that allows you to close off comments automatically on your blog.

I added Bad Behavior to tinfoilsoldier the other day, as well as Comment Timeout because while none of the spam was getting through, bots would still hammer super old posts attempting to spam them.

Hopefully this decreases load some (not that it was a problem, but it made my logs kind of useless because the most popular pages were super old ones)

As a side note, I also use:
Akismet and Spam Karma 2.2 for spam control, but I might be able to get rid of Spam Karma if bad behavior continues to stop everything from even getting to spam karma’s queue

I think it the protection is layered like this:

1. Website
2. Bad Behavior
3. Comment Timeout
4. Akismet
5. Spam Karma
6. Comment on Tin Foil Soldier
