I made split pea and ham soup yesterday in my new crockpot and it was awesome.
16 oz. dry split peas
1.5 lb boneless ham, 1/2-3/4″ cubes
3/4 lb baby carrots, cut in half
4-6 stalks celery
4-6 red russet potatoes, 1/2-3/4″ cubes
