TheStar.com - Business - Toronto Hydro seeks rate rise
Toronto residents and businesses have taken to the idea of saving electricity – so much so that Toronto Hydro-Electric System Ltd. is looking to raise rates to cover a $10.4 million decrease in revenue.
Apparently it is going to be about 2 bucks a month more because everyone was so efficient they aren’t selling enough electricity (probably “not selling enough to stay extremely wealthy,” but who is to say).
