At the Battle of Chancellorsville, Confederate general Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson is accidentally shot three times by his own men. Jackson’s left arm is amputated, and he dies eight days later from complications.

I honestly have to wonder if they forgot to put “accidentally” in quotes. Then again, I seem to recall he was a good man. Granted, everything I know about history has long since been overwritten with other things, so what do I know.
