The CHP bomb squad hit the mail bucket with a water cannon. Further investigation determined an employee in the mail room accidentally dropped a handheld scanner in the mail bucket. When more mail fell on top of it, a button was activated that caused the ticking sound.
oh, good, they blew up the mail scanner! i feel so much safer now and what not
