NY State Assembly approves
Democrat & Chronicle: Local News
“I do not want a seat in your synagogue, I do not want a pew in your church. I seek a license that many of you have had, some of you have had two or three times,” O’Donnell said
I knew about this before, but I just read this quote from Daniel O’Donnell, D-Manhattan, and I finally found a short way to sum up the situation.
I call BS on the Senate. How are they done for the YEAR on this past Thursday?!
btw. NY is now even more officially my state, I am waiting for my driver’s license in the mail because its to confusing for them to make them on the spot like PA

I’ll wait until it passes the senate before I celebrate, no offense. I’m too cynical to think this will make it through.

New York sucks. MA/RI all the way! At least we Rhode Islanders have the balls to drive 75 in a 55 and not get pulled over. Points?!?! What are “points”?! You get pulled over, you get a ticket, your insurance may go up, no big deal. None of this 6 points and you lose your license bologna. And, our stores close after 10pm instead of this nonsense 9pm in NY. Besides, RI recognizes MA’s gay marriages. We may not perform them, but we recognize them, at least. AND we have a nice shoreline. We may be a small state, but we sure pack one hell of a punch. I will be surprised if this comment isn’t deleted.

Add to that, the fastest internets in the country:

I attribute that to the kickass cable company known as Cox Communications. They know how to treat people. Last year their service was 5 Mbit/s down, 2 Mbit/s up for $45/mo. I don’t know what it is today, but 2 Mbit/s up is unheard of these days. Not to mention, you’ll *actually* get about 5.5-6 Mbit/s down. If you didn’t, you could talk to a rep 24/7 and they would send a guy to your house the next morning, diagnose the problem and fix it before lunchtime.
Compare that to RoadRunner’s almost bogus claim of 10 Mbit/s down, 512 Kbit/s up for $55/mo. and horrible customer service. I’d take Cox over RR any day.

Sorry for the comment abuse.
