weekend of good eats
We ate so well this weekend.
Friday morning we cooked up some bacon; Brian had blueberry pancakes and I made a mushroom, pepper, and tomato omelet. For dinner I made a pizza that had fresh basil from the garden in the dough, and as a topping. It also had fresh peppers from the garden. It was definitely one of my best.
Saturday I made a crock pot full of pork tenderloin and sauerkraut. Some smashed potatoes and steamed mixed veggies to finish of the meal.
Sunday Kevin made ham and 9 bean soup that was awesome. Add a baguette, some soft cheese, and some wine and you have a great, mostly healthy meal.
I am always looking for ideas of what to make for dinner, and Rob Cockerham’s What Should I have for Dinner? A Very Long List of Supper Options is usually good for ideas. I don’t see how my mom manages to make so many different things so that it seems like we didn’t eat the same things all the time. I can’t even remember half the stuff we ate growing up.

Thanks for the link! I had hoped that the very long list it would become a useful resource. I could definitely find a lot of recipes online, but a long, simple list of dinner ideas seemed to be missing.
