we have an automatic ice maker, and we use ice all the time, but its so hard to use the ice on the bottom of the bin. We turned the maker off and tried to use up all the ice, but towards the bottom it definitely had a smell of funk. The freezer burnt smell got into my hands and everything.
But… I think that vanilla extract would leave a weird brown frozen stain everywhere?
