Richard Scarry’s Best Word Book Ever, 1963 vs 1991 editions (with revisions).
Flickr photo set of changes between the 1963 version and the 1991 edition. They added the father to the kitchen scenes, teachers are now male, no more “mail man” now its “letter carrier”, and if you add yellow ribbons to an animal it makes it a female animal. Most of the new drawings don’t even look like they match, you can easily tell the new ones because they are solid color fills instead of shading variations of the fill color.
