Excel Dryer | XLerator The Fast Hand Dryers
Hand dryer motor shall be a series commutated through-flow discharge vacuum motor/blower (5/8 HP / 20,000 RPM) which provides air velocity of 16,000 LFM (linear feet per minute) at the air outlet and 14,000 LFM at the hands (4 inches [102 mm] below air outlet).
If you ever EVER in your life get to pick hand driers, or have any say in what is bought, get the XLerator. From the insanely high numbers above you can tell it works. Instead of gently blowing warmish air at your hands like most hand driers, it BLOWS THE FRIGGIN WATER OFF! It works, it only takes a few seconds, it doesn’t hurt, just buy it. Once you have used the turbo hand drier that is the XLerator, you will wish everywhere had them installed.
Most of RIT has the awesomeness that is XLerator. The new College of Business building however, newly renovated and all, has some stupid huff and puff driers that are worthless.

I was just thinking about how much I missed these when I watched how much paper we go through at work for hand drying.
The XLerator was awesome. It blew so hard it would take the skin right off your hands. And the sound.. it just made you smile..

we went to the new Distillery last night, in Winton Plaza right at Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road, and they had the silver XLerator. I was happy to see a place other than RIT realize that they were so freakin awesome.
