hands burning
How do I get my hands to stop burning ??? (Archived thread) -
Ouch. Rubbing alcohol is supposed to cut the oil, then follow that with a lotion or ointment
I cut up a bunch of peppers from the garden (i finally decided it was too cold and they weren’t going to grow anymore) today to freeze. I was fine, they weren’t that spicy seeming or anything. Later after I made some cleaned up dinner and made Apple Cider Spice Cake Cup Cakes, (will post about later, promise) I was washing dishes and my hand started to burn. I dont know if it was the warm water or what, but damn that hurts. I tried the rubbing alcohol, and that seemed to work fairly well. Then I took a shower and the burning became almost unbearable again. Cold water works to numb it, but the burning still comes back. I don’t think the alcohol / bleach / oil “cures” will work because it has been so many hours since I was “exposed.”
Anyway, I am starting to get used to it, I just hope I don’t rub my eye or use that hand to go the bathroom.
