Mother and baby ordered to leave college library after being deemed a ‘health and safety risk’ | the Daily Mail
A young mother was told to leave a college study group along with her sleeping baby - because she was a health and saftey risk.The mother-of-two, who is studying in the evening for a degree in early years health, was told the decision was made on health and safety grounds because of dust, temperature and hard-edged surfaces.
They have a breast-feeding room there, and a diaper changing room, but she isn’t allowed to have her sleeping baby anywhere else. I can understand asking her to leave or go to a non-quiet area of the library if the baby was bawling, but a health and safety risk? BS.
