But are they still “evil”?

Wal-mart getting cheaper still with sun power - Green Daily
A Sam’s Club store in Chino, California, recently completed the installation of a 390 kilowatt solar power system, the first of seven such systems to be placed in stores around California….The installations will provide on average up to 30% of the power needed to operate the store or distribution center, and will also help Wal-mart reduce greenhouse gas emissions by some 8-1000 metric tons annually.

Apparently they get a killer deal on the solar panels. They should somehow work out a Wal-mart style sale on solar panels for the consumer. Even if they are trying to cut back on emissions and go renewable, are they still “evil”?

  • No, they’re still evil. It just means that 30% of 1 store (out of 4091) is marginally less dirty. Not less evil. Being dirty is bad, but not a requirement for being evil.
