Starving?

Today in class, 20 minutes before the break:

Kid in the front of the classroom gets up and leaves.

Just now:

Kid comes back in, munching on peanuts in a bag.  Walking, smiling, and eating his damn peanuts.  WTF?!  When did it become acceptable to just leave in the middle of class to go get a snack?  Sure, you can, because it isn’t high school anymore (the kid is obviously a freshman), but that doesn’t mean you should.

He isn’t skinny and he damn sure would have survived if he waited.  Now that he is back, he still is chatting it up with the kids sitting right next to him.  Just because you aren’t making sound when you communicate doesn’t mean we can’t tell you are chatting.  Moving your hands around wildly and smiling like you are telling jokes is not a privilege that you get in class just because you are deaf.  It is something you can do because you are a jackass.  End of story jackass.
