Learn 2 Ride: Day 5
Unfortunately I don’t think today was as much fun as usual at motorcycle class. It started out fun, but then some of the turns are just ridiculous in what they expect us to do while not looking at the tiny little dots on the ground. Yes, I am going to look at the ground if I am trying to ride around an arbitrary course in a parking lot, I need to see where I am going, get over it.
We also “practiced” stopping while corning, like if you were going around a corner and then there was something in the way. Except we didn’t put anything in the way, it was just “pretend something is in the way” and go from there. We all did fine, but its not like we were actually avoiding anything, because nothing was there.
I wasn’t sure if it was going to, but fortunately the weather held out. One more class session this Thursday, and at the end of it we have our riding evaluation so that we can eventually get a form in the mail that we can take to the DMV and get our licenses without having to take the DMV road test.
