Real parents, talking about their kids. One happens to be gay, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have the same rights
Putting a face on the people who will be affected helps people see how many people will be affected.
In other Prop 8 news, Steven Spielberg donated 100K$ to No On 8
Brad Pitt gave 100K$ last week to say No On 8 and he also said that him and Angelina Jolie will not marry until marriage equality has been achieved for all.
and sorta of locally, at least to my state, the Major of SF Gavin Newsom and NY Gov. David Paterson will co-host a 5K$ a plate fundraiser for fight Prop 8.
Unfortunately, in FL, where marriage is already restricted to a man and a woman, they are taking it a step further and have an amendment to ban any other legal union from being treated the same as marriage or equivalent to marriage. I hope that one at least has a LOT harder time passing because of how downright evil it is.
