I’m taking every opportunity to ride my motorcycle to work. This morning I double gloved it because there was frost on all of the grass / windows of the cars. It wasn’t actually that bad with a pair of normal gloves on top of my motorcycle gloves.
Kevin’s bike tells him when it is warmed up. Mine doesn’t, so I just start it when I put my boots on, then go inside and put my jacket, gloves and helmet on and then till I back out of the garage, kickstand, go in the garage, press the shut button on the door, and then run out, being careful to step around the sensor beam. Then till I get it turned around I figure its warm enough. This morning it was a pain getting out of the garage because Kevin’s car was still there (he has the day off), so it was his car, my car and then our other roommate Dave’s truck. I had to go back and forth on the bike to get it to turn enough to roll between the cars and leave.
With the road so cold, cornering is definately different, I went wider than I normally do. I don’t know if thats because of a mental thing, or if the grip was different enough to not let me corner as tightly. Either way I love riding my motorcycle and I am glad I bought it even with the end of the riding season so close.

Just be careful when it’s colder. Road and tires definitely have less traction.
