Apparently I broke PHP, so I had to rebuild it, and ap-php and php-mysql
but now everything should be back up and running 

Updates:
Apache had a security bug, so it was updated
Mysql had a bug as well
as did proFTPd

Tin Foil Soldier
DNS should be fully propogated, and theTTL is up for any cached lookups, so that means that all requests for www.tinfoilsoldier.com and tinfoilsoldier.com should be coming to this computer (seele) instead of caspar.
everything should work? if something doesnt let me know

if you can see this, then your DNS is properly updated
I moved my main webpage from caspar to seele, and its about 10 times faster

with the help of dave’s website, I am working on integrating all of my computers into an active directory thats running on balthasar

apparently, due to my cutting power to the server, which is why it was down, becasuse it basically destroyed my mysql install,
anyway, i apparently destroyed/lost about 3 posts as well, all from 5-16

yeah, the server has been down a day or two, mysql has been the suck
i think i have it all fixed now? hehe

so… the site was down for a while, because i couldnt get anything to work when i upgraded the userland
I think that everything crucial to the site is back up and running,
dhclient wouldnt even come up at first, due to new dhcp programming in the -current userland
then named wouldnt start, something to do with the [...]

I was bored so i was checking over my logs that i just got working again, and I saw that yahoo was crawling my servers alot the other day, so i went to their website, and low and behold, Yahoo search knows about “Tin foil soldier” and tinfoilsoldier and tin foil soldier (without the quotes) [...]

so I updated my kernel to netbsd -current so that I hopefully get rid of some corruption issues, and I was planning on updating my userland as well, but I tried twice, once for like 35 hours of compiling on the qube only to have it fail, and then I set up a vmware netbsd [...]

i already recompiled my kernel last night (dont worry, i started it then went and got my party on)
and now i am recompiling my userland for netbsd -current, so server might be what we call “uber slow”

the other day kevin and I went to frozenCPU,
and i ended up bying a fan for the qube (caspar) and a new processor heatsink for melchior (my main machine)
