It’s time to bike, but not too hard

Uphill slopes: l don’t know anyone who enjoys biking up a hill, especially when you’re trying to get somewhere you need to be. Going uphill is worse than simply being much slower; it’s also exhausting and can take a toll on the rest of your ride. Our biking directions are based [...]

Free Will

As you journey along the path you meet an old man.
He tells you that modern neuroscience has proved that all our actions and decisions are merely the machinations of a predetermined universe and that our concept of ‘free will’ is naught but a comforting illusion.
If you agree with his hypothesis, turn to page 72
If you [...]

Vroom Vroom

In 1985, according to Ward’s Communications, 22.4% of all vehicles sold in the United States came with a manual transmission. By 2007, the number had plummeted to 7.7%.

That doesn’t mean we have to like it, though. For the serious driver, piloting a car with a manual transmission is a badge of honor. [...]

2009–10 Toyota vehicle recalls

2009–10 Toyota vehicle recalls – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
I am sick of people complaining and whining about Toyota.  The first recall was because a dealer put the WRONG mats in a Lexus and they got stuck against the pedal.  They recalled 3.8 million vehicles voluntarily because it’s possible to install the wrong [...]

Top Movies

They keep saying Avatar has made the most @ the boxoffice, but lets be honest, a date to see Avatar at the 3D imax cost me 26$ for tickets alone.  We could have bought almost 4 regular tickets for that price, let alone what it cost when Gone With the Wind was in theaters.
Here’s the [...]

Sansa MP3 Players

Sandisk Clip 2GB MP3 Player
via Woot : One Day, One Deal SM.
Kevin has a Sansa Clip, I have a Sansa Fuse and I love it.  The clip is nicer for running because it is so tiny but the Fuse plays video (on a tiny screen so who cares).  The battery on these units lasts a [...]

Chili & Cheddar Burger

I had a Chili & Cheddar Burger with fries for lunch and it was delicious.  It was from the SAU Cafe; RIT may try to tell you it is now the “Brick City Catering & Cafe” location, but I call bullshit on [...]

Erg

Modern indoor rowers are also sometimes known as ergometers (colloquially erg or ergo)
I used to row pretty regularly in the past but I switched to more running and lifting.  Today I erged again @ the gym and it was definitely a workout.  The palms of my hands hurt more than anything else, the plastic/rubber pull [...]

Beer in the Garage

It’s a great idea!
The cold winter air keeps it at a nice temp without having to use electricity, and I can grab a beer before I even open the door to the house.

Research Proves Obvious

Bacon: it makes the recession taste better. That’s our theory, anyway, after reading an article on Burgerbusiness.com with original research showing that menu items containing bacon at all restaurants are up 26.5% since 2005.

The World Is Just Awesome

The World Is Just Awesome
This is definitely one of my all time favorite commercials.  Granted, it is for one of my favorite channels, but well, the world is just awesome.

The commercial is best when viewed loudly
