I had a Chili & Cheddar Burger with fries for lunch and it was delicious.  It was from the SAU Cafe; RIT may try to tell you it is now the “Brick City Catering & Cafe” location, but I call bullshit on [...]

Man Coffee

Man Coffee Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network.
I’m not entirely certain what makes it “Man Coffee” but adding a pinch of salt does seem to make coffee slightly more delicious.

Smart Choices?

The green checkmark label that is starting to show up on store shelves will appear on hundreds of packages, including — to the surprise of many nutritionists — sugar-laden cereals like Cocoa Krispies and Froot Loops.

The United Steaks

The United Steaks « Cakehead Loves Evil.

Now in preview screenings, Julie and Julia is already being savaged in food blogger circles. Chef, cookbook author and food blogger Virginia Willis’ slam set the tone. While professing “no malice,” it took Powell to task for daring to question Child’s recipe, once:
One day she made a comment implying a recipe being wrong for roast [...]

Russian Haired Sausage

A new dish became extremely popular among some Russian bloggers lately. Now it’s not quite clear who was the first one who invented this mod by pinning some uncooked sausage with hard spaghetti sticks and then boiling this alltogether and getting first “haired sausage” ready.

Rubix Cubewich

This is why you’re fat. – The Rubix Cubewich (via insanewiches).

I don’t think that the Rubix Cubewich is the particular reason that most people are fat, but it does look delicious.
This Is Why You’re Fat has 3 basic kinds of foods:
There are the slightly unhealthy foods like fried ravioli, which I don’t really see as [...]

Venison Weekend

We have plenty of venison in the deep freezer that Kevin’s step-dad has given us but we don’t use it all that often.  We thawed out some ground bambi and some bambi steaks this past weekend and made some delicious deer dinner.
Saturday we had vension tacos that were awesome.  I went kinda light on the [...]
