Favorite Pics
I have gotten a couple of my photos printed onto studio wrap canvas by winkflash
The first set was from Yellowstone National Park
clicks for embiggening
I got the first one printed on 12×12″ canvas, and the other three on 12×18″
The second set I got printed were pictures from my trip to visit Jake, so they are from the Grand Canyon as well as Sedona, AZ
The first two I got printed on 16×20″ canvas, and the second two are on 12×18″
I like all of them alot, but I think that the sunset picture with the trees in the sulfur is my favorite from the first set, and I haven’t seen the prints I ordered of the second set yet, but I think I will end up really liking the picture of the canyon.
Winkflash’s prices used to be much better, but they are still much cheaper than alot of the other places that do canvas prints. Plus I usually buy when they go on sale which means they are usually 40% off.
I did tweak color saturation and brightness in paint.net, the canvas printing does take away some of the vividness of the colors so I like to compensate, plus I think it looks nice. The trip to Yellowstone I borrowed my friend’s Canon Rebel XT; the second trip out west I borrowed another friend’s PowerShot S3 IS because I have a really old 3.3MP camera and wanted to be able to properly preserve the awesomeness.
